MIUC has also made major contributions to LLB in Pakistan by way of numerous events including National Mooting competitions; the annual MMCC open to all current and aspiring Law students from all across Pakistan, guest lectures, job fairs for top job and internship. Placements and producing a world class alumni since 2009 who have secure top positions professionally both in Pakistan and internationally. Admissions for MIUC are open throughout the year and consist of two sessions, the May batch and the October batch.
The Bachelor of Laws (Latin: Legum Baccalaureus) or LLB. is an undergraduate, or bachelors degree in law (or a first professional degree in law, depending on the jurisdiction) originating in England and offered in most common law Jurisdictions.
MIUC offers the most prestigious University of London Undergraduate Laws LLB (Hons) degree, which is not only recognized worldwide, but also the preferred choice for employers both locally and internationally.
In a world where degree providers are proliferating, the University of London LLB offers the security of an internationally recognized ‘gold standard’ established for over 100 years. The University of London was the first to offer a degree in English Law, in the 1890s.
Upon graduation students can directly enroll into the Bar at Law, LLM, LPC and will be joining a distinguished group of solicitors, barristers and judges around the world who began their careers by obtaining their law degree through the University of London International Programmes. The academic direction of the LLB is provided by a Consortium of outstanding University of London Law Schools: which includes Birkbeck, King’s, LSE, Queen Mary, SOAS and UCL.
MIUC Laws is famous for being the only institution in the twin cities for conducting the most extra and co- Curricular events from the Metropolitan Moot Court Competition (MMCC), to Court Trips, embassy trips, Visits to the National Assembly of Pakistan and Guest Lectures from notable Judicial and legal figures such as Justice Qazi Faez Isa, Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan, Former Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Malik Qamar Afzal, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan, Ahmed Raza Kasuri, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan and Judge Sohail Nasir.
