The Pearson Higher Nationals Computing HND courses covers a broad range of units that are specific to the computing industry. The wide variety of units provide a foundation of skills and knowledge for varied roles such as programming, information system management, networking, business intelligence and more.
The specialist pathways are chosen to encourage students to get hand on skills in varied areas of this profession. Industry placements are also facilitated so that the students can get practical exposure of the computing field.

Entry Requirements for Higher Nationals in Computing are:

· Students over 18 years of age or above.

· FA/FSC/ICS/O/A LEVELS.

· Student awaiting results can also apply.

Because HNDs are designed to give you the skills for a particular field of work, they can lead straight to a career. You can also use the qualifications to progress within your current career, for example as a stepping stone to gaining professional status.
You can also convert your HND to a bachelor’s degree with extra study. Once you complete your course, HND can allow entry into the second or third year.
