The 35th anniversary recognition ceremony for alumni and stakeholders of RISC and MIUC was a resounding success, highlighting the tremendous achievements of over 15,000 alumni who have excelled in diverse industries, segments, and careers globally, while also serving their home country, Pakistan. The event was attended by a diverse group of 500+ alumni from all four provinces, with messages of congratulations and appreciation from alumni across 5 continents being aired throughout the evening.
The event was truly an evening to cherish, as over $50 million in scholarships were awarded to deserving students, and the achievements and attainments of over 15,000 alumni were celebrated in the presence of key stakeholders and office bearers of the Government of Pakistan, including the Federal Minister of Education, Rana Tanvir Hussain, Ms. Rahat Konain, chairperson Competition Commission Pakistan, Assad Hameed Khan & Team ACCA Pakistan, Haaris Mehmood Chaudhary, CEO Universal Service Fund, Mr. Waqar Shah, Deputy General Manager Pearson, Mr. Ahmad Hassan Shah, Advocate Supreme Court, Mr. Saqib Rafique, President RCCI, Maj. A batch of freshly enrolled students from MIUC Islamabad Campus’ ACCA & HND department paid visit to Special Technology Zones Authority and attended a highly informative session on developing industry trends and future of academia in Pakistan. Director outreach & events, STZA, Ms. Hina Nasir had a meeting with RISC’s PR & Communications team and discussed matters of mutual interest and growth.

MIUC ACCA department attended a training program on income tax and E-filing of income tax return Jointly organized by Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rawalpindi chamber of commerce and SMEDA.
President RCCI Mr. Sakib Rafik along with Senior Vice President, Mr. Muhammad Hamza Sarosh & Vice President, Mr. Faisal Shahzad were present on the occasion and distributed training certificates amongst students.
Such initiatives are key to the learning programs at MIUC and prepare our students to be future-ready.

MIUC Islamabad commemorated Pink October to raise awareness on the issue among its students and faculty as the whole world is standing united to support its victims and survivors. Ms. Shireen Gheba graced the event with her presence and thoughtful talk on the issue. She herself is a cancer survivor. Her fight for cancer and success story was an inspiration for everyone.

Furthering their knowledge and exposure on their field of study, MIUC arranged an informative visit of its HND students to PNCA. It was one of the opportunities where students can thoroughly observe and enhance their analytical skills

MIUC speaks welcomed Mr. Muhammad Afaq Khan, President MCB Islamic Bank as its latest guest speaker. He shared his wisdom on subjects such as persistence, hard work, big dreams and importance of having a goal with reliance on Almighty God.
The event concluded with a detailed Q&A session and students received some highly satisfactory answers.

MIUC regularly plays host to all University of London representatives visiting Pakistan, and it has become a tradition to receive the UOL reps annually at the start of each academic session. We are proud to announce an exclusive visit by Dean Undergraduate Laws University of London Mr. Simon Askey and Regional Advisor South Asia Mr. Saad Wasim at MIUC Islamabad, where students, faculty and administration lead by our esteemed CEO Sir Walid Mushtaq received them with a warm and hearty welcome. Mr. Askey and Mr. Wasim had an in-dept and interactive session with the administration and faculty, and a fun and knowledgeable session with the students. MIUC is one of the pioneering RTCs and collaborative partner of the University of London in Pakistan, and has on of the largest laws program in the country.
